Happy New Year! As I reflect on this past year, I count my blessings for having all of you in my life. Your dedication to our show has propelled all of us on Patti Gribow's RoundTable to stay committed to providing excellent programming filled with intriguing, cutting-edge subject matter. I sincerely thank you for your embrace.

Our theme this week is Movies and the Military. Joining me at the RoundTable is Marine Sergeant (Ret.) Jon Barton who co- founded GUNMETAL Group in response to the need for a higher level of professional military advisors working in Hollywood. GUNMETAL's participation has added new depths of military, F.B.I., and S.W.A.T. realism to many shows, including "Punisher, "Criminal Minds", "N.C.I.S.", and "C.S.I. Miami" to name some. Accompanying Jon are Actor, Writer, Marine Renzo Fidani (Ret.), and Actress, Air National Guard, Navy, Veronica Wayne (Ret.). Also joining us is Lexi Alexander Director of The Punisher War Zone a Lionsgate action film that was released earlier this month.

This week on 'The Buzz' Dr. Jeralyn Brossfield from Rancho Mirage Women's Health Center will share some healthy tips for the New Year.

Our thought this week is from another serviceman who was in the Air Force, Dick Kelly a long time council member of the City of Palm Desert. One of Dick's core values is, "Be fair and honest in dealing with people and issues." Dick will be honored by United Way of the Desert's 19th Annual VIP Waiter Challenge on March 9th. I hope you will join us for that special event.
